Unfortunately for Snake, Samus was simply too quick for him. She opened fire on Snake with some pistols. Sure, she would be more vulnerable to damage, but she could live with that. Perhaps if she increased her speed she would be able to beat Snake. "I'll need a new suit." answered Samus.įighting fire with fire, Samus took off her Varia Suit. He succeeded in breaking off Samus's helmet. He decided to engage Samus in hand-to-hand combat.įortunately for Snake, he was good at hand-to-hand combat. He was going to have to fight his way out of this Death Battle. If only he would live longer so that he could enjoy life to its fullest. Why was Snake so flirtatious with women anyway? The only question was who it was going to be. These fights never ended well for one of them. Luckily for Snake, he had survived going through a microwave chamber, so this didn't kill him. This time, she managed to hit Snake with it.
"What other weapons should I try?" questioned Samus. However, Samus's Varia Suit proved itself to be durable once again. Snake ducked underneath it and tossed a grenade at Samus's suit. There was something about her Varia Suit. Unfortunately, it seemed that he couldn't rely on stealth against Samus. Samus is one of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy." warned Otacon. However, Samus Aran was getting ready to fire her Ice Beam at him. It hit Samus, but luckily her suit shielded her. Samus struck first, trying to zap Snake with her laser. "Where did that exclamation mark come from?" inquired Samus. She lifted it up, causing a ! to appear on her head. It didn't seem like a bad hiding spot though. "Why exactly is he hiding in there?" questioned Samus. She used her heat vision to search for Snake. As long as he stood perfectly still, chances are he wasn't going to be discovered.right?īut unfortunately, Samus had a way to counter that, thanks to her state-of-the-art technology. He decided to hide in his cardboard box so he wouldn't get spotted. "It might be best for you to hide so that the bounty hunter doesn't find you." noted Otacon. It was probably somebody who had a lot of weapons just as he did and was superhuman. The only question was who his opponent was going to be. It looked like he had been chosen to be in Death Battle. Personally I think that they placed the bounty on your head simply so that they can enjoy the carnage." explained the man at the other side of the pager. "I believe it was some scientist named Wizard and some redneck named Boomstick. Was it Volgin? He heard that he wanted to do all sorts of nasty things to him that would give people nightmares. "A bounty hunter? Who is it? And who exactly placed a bounty on my head?" inquired Snake. It seems that the Metroid fans want you dead for some strange reason." answered Otacon. Meanwhile, Snake received a message from Otacon. Who wanted so much money for Snake dead or alive, anyway? She wanted to know already. "Yes.he also has an enormous bounty on his head." explained Samus. "So let me get this straight.you want me to kill Solid Snake, because he's a backstabbing snake?"
